Ensuring your bed is comfortable to lay on is really imperative to an exceptional treatment. It’s also just as important for it to look cosy and inviting so that the client can’t wait to jump in as soon as they arrive.

The Cloud Bed set up has different layers to guarantee ultimate comfort.

Yoga Bolster – placed under the knees or lower thighs. Adjust the height or remove altogether, depending on the client’s preference. The yoga bolster is firm and keeps its shape better compared to a conventional pillow.

Foam Topper – creates ultimate plushness and smoothes any movement joins in the bed.

Electric Blanket – ensures warmth during the colder months and creates a cosy cocoon.

King Quilt – the large size ensures the structure and mechanics of the bed is covered as well as adds an additional layer of comfort.

Bath Sheets (x2) – One long and one horizontal to protect the linen cover.

Double Quilt or Linen Throw – the layer to cover the client, the level of warmth needed is determined by the season.

Woven Bed Roll – this is placed on the upper part of the bed to help during the facial massage and to protect the bed from oils and creams.

As you develop your Cloud Bed setup be sure to test it out. This will help you know what your clients are experiencing. Be generous with yourself! You may find it helpful testing the bed for different lengths of time. What feels okay for 5 minutes may feel differently after an hour!

Remember each body is different. What is comfortable for one might not be for another. Ask each client for feedback about their comfort so you can make adjustments right then and there and tweaks for their next visit.
